In 2020 two members of Zelta Zonk, Stephan K. Gipp (SKG, living in the USA) and Andreas Pirner (APi, home in Germany) reconnected via internet to share their ideas of music (making).

APi's publications of 'tons' of historic, revisited musical material from their time in the '70s, his solo stuff from then on, up to new creations from 2018 on, have triggered an ongoing collaboration in musical things.

Baked Goods collects four lenghty tracks from May-July 2020. The album title sums up the track titles, these were created during the interchange process. This back and forth procedure reminded the two of a baking excess ... well.

Any interchange started with several variations of working together: Adding a voice to an existing harmonic/rythmic base done by the other, creating a whole chapter, and setting up suite like full tracks together.

Making music since age 8, guitar at 15, starting a band (mainly bass). Doing many genres, slightly biased towards prog rock [see www.ZeltaZonk.de].
Created tracks with many instruments to analogue tapes. Digital music editing started in mid 2000s, the DAW in 2018. Tapes got reworked. Since then new tracks are created. Since 2020 he works with co-musicians and publishes them. ... more
