about

(...sometimes I just hang around with a flute in my hand and dream like I did years ago on a beach, in a forest or in a chaï shop ...)

C·A·S·A - Flûte Pipe Flöte is a very cooperative album. Four musicans from four countries (on two continents) take part on creating.

The core idea is based on flute samples done by Claudia ('Schlo') in France. She owns a nice collection of varied flutes and pipes. These samples are distributed to Andrea (in Canada), Stephan ('SKG' in USA) and Andreas ('APi' in Germany).

The first letters of their first names make the C·A·S·A.

Each musician worked with the samples (not always doing each & any) -- without prior knowing what the others do. When everyone had finished her/his rendition, they got redistributed to all partners.

... and everyone enjoys ...

Notes:
There are 14 samples, numbered from 01 to 14. The additional names are mostly identifying the flutes, they are not really imaginative.
Each original sample from Schlo carries 'a' as following letter.
Each processing by APi is denoted by 'b'.
Editing done by Andrea is identified by 'c'.
Arrangments by SKG are listed with 'd'.
One extra: Sample 13 resulted in two well matching renditions by APi ('b') Andrea ('c'), so Andrea did a mix of them as 'e'.
