A while ago the idea of redoing a vital core track from Zelta Zonk times came up. "Kubla Khan" was/is the selected favourite.
Starting out as A·S·A, and now being Zelta Zonk (in new splendor), Andrea, Stephan and Andreas got at their respective DAWs and reworked the material.

Stephan did ground breaking basics by 'midi'ing the core elements of Kubla Khan. That midi source -- sometimes augmented by sampled audio parts -- got good use in multitude & varied circumstances, utilizing tons of creative ideas by/from each contributor.

Included are first sketches from APi's works series (APi#1213 from Works with Vocals), where he 'designed' a part -- using vocals.

The studio recording of Kubla Khan did not get to the finishing takes of vocals. But Andrea took up the labour to reimagine vocals. She did so by remixing the studio take and even incorporating the design part from APi's #1213.

During half a year of revisiting parts and pieces and renditions several versions came to life.

Some doing nearly all of the original stuff, some reducing materials to some basics. Thus tracks of near six up to over twenty minutes came to life.
