"from notes by APi" is a collection of compositions realised in 2020. They are based on (mostly) handwritten notes from the seventies -- at that time APi made music with his group Zelta Zonk. Most of these notes weren't used and ended to be collected as mere memorabilia.
In 2020 APi took the notes from the vaults and sets them to music, mostly adhering to the formulated ideas. The arrangements although take advantage of modern sounds, rythms and instrumentations.

As a bonus "Sonata #1" is added. The idea for such a thing came up in February 2020, when Stephan Gipp and APi startet an exchange of ideas and concepts related to new musical cooperations.
